hot tub

Please do not under any circumstance fill the hot-tub yourself if water levels are low. The water in the hot tub is ran through a special filter to purify the water. We do our best to maintain a reasonable water level between guests.

Shower before getting in the hot tub. While we clean and sanitize the hot tub between guests, residues from lotion, soap, sunblock, bug repellent, make-up and body-oils can make the water murky and less pleasant to be in. Additionally, usage by large groups increase the likelihood of bacteria breeding in the water during your stay. Showering helps combat this.

Please wipe your feet before getting in the hot tub to avoid sand or dirt from getting in the tub. Note the towel hooks on the house (to the right of the door) for hanging of your towels.

The hot tub is pretty simple to operate.

Dial the temperature to your liking. 104º is the max temperature. Jets have 3 speeds and speed of individual jets can be controlled by twisting the rings around the jets. We just ask that you shut the jets off and place the cover back on the hot tub when not in use. Lower the temp when not in use.

As the cover is fairly heavy, so we've added a lift-assister. Please be very gentle with the cover and arms, by opening it very slowly. First flip the right part of the cover open. Then gently lift the folded cover until the hot tub is completely uncovered - it sits at about 15º. Overextending the cover may cause the arms to break. Please note that should one or both arms snap, an automatic $200 will be withheld from your security deposit.

No glass in the hot tub. There are acrylic glasses in the kitchen should you need a beverage.

No unsupervised children under the age of 16 in the hot tub.

Guests enter and use hot tub at own risk. Any personal injury or death is seen to be the sole responsibility of the guest and the owners of Wildwood are not liable should any accidents occur.
