What’s Provided

While here, we want you to worry about one thing only: enjoying yourself.

To help, here’s a list of thing’s provided at Wildwood.

Every time a new guest arrives, we make up each bed with clean linens. The wool blankets on each bed are very warm and great for snuggling on the couch (and of course sleeping with).

Under the kitchen sink you’ll find surface cleaner, paper towels, dishwasher pods and trash bags for your stay. Dish towels and cloth napkins are also located in the kitchen.

Each bathroom should have sufficient toilet paper and hand-soap. Each shower also has Aveda shampoo (left) and bodywash (right) provided.

White bath towels are located in the up-stairs hall closet (just outside the main bathroom).

A limited number of non-white towels are be provided for usage in the hot tub and can be found in the same hall closet.

Should you need to do laundry while at the house, there is usually dishwasher pods in the same closet.

In the entry closets, you’ll find a variety of board games for rainy days and cool evenings, as well as outdoor lawn games (Cornhole, Polish golf, Bocci Ball) for when the weather is perfect.

A few items you should bring:

Food, snacks and beverages, as well as any containers for taking food home with you. Please note any food products left behind will be thrown out.

Flash lights (to supplement those found in the closet hallway

Coffee. There are coffee filters at the house, but you'll want to bring coffee.

While we do spray for mosquitos, Wildwood is very much in the woods so definitely bring bug spray. Additionally, while there’s lots of shade, there’s also lots of sun, so grab that sunscreen.

Firewood for the fire pit and/or fireplace. Your nearest location to pick some up is at the Shell Gas Station south of the house at 124th Ave. & Blue Star Highway.

Trash & Recycling

Bins for trash and recycling sit on the east side of the garage. Please use accordingly and note that no plastic bags are allowed in the recycling bin. Trash goes to the curb Sunday PM, and Recycling is every other Tuesday. Most likely you won’t have to worry about either of these due to Saturday check-in and out, as our house manager Wendy usually moves things to the curb then, and stops by during the week to bring the bins back to the house. However, if bins are full and empty ones are at the curb, please do grab those and bring them back to the house for your usage.

Lawn & Garden + Other Maintenance

Dependent on the rain and heat, our lawn crew comes on Tuesdays to mow and water the lawn. The house manager, Wendy, may stop by Wednesdays to water the back deck plants and front gardens in addition to moving recycling bins back to their appropriate spot. Terminix stops sprays for mosquitos at the end of the month, though appointments may be determined by how wet or dry it is.

There may also be other instances where I have to send a repair person or other professional over to the house to evaluate an issue or make a repair. While I will give as much notice as possible, we appreciate your flexibility for these things.
